In short: Rollify does not require an account. Your setups are stored on your device. The app uses Google AdMob to display advertising and may use Google measurement services, which can process device and usage data as described below.
1. Who we are
Rollify is provided by Tomas Ondrisek ("we", "us", or "our"), based in the Czech Republic. For privacy questions or requests, contact ondrisek.thomas@gmail.com.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Rollify Android application. It explains what information is processed, why it is processed, where it is stored, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
3. Information processed by Rollify
Information stored locally on your device
To provide its core decision-making features, Rollify stores the following information in the application's local storage:
- custom setups, column names, option labels, priorities, dice assignments, and selection rules;
- saved setup names and the currently active setup;
- language preference and the number of completed rolls;
- countdown and notification information needed to operate a timer.
This core information is not uploaded to a Rollify account or Rollify-operated server because Rollify does not provide user accounts or cloud synchronization.
Backups and sharing
If you choose to export a backup, Rollify creates a JSON file containing your saved setups and opens the Android share sheet. The file is sent only to the destination you select. Any selected third-party app or storage provider handles that file under its own privacy terms.
Advertising information
Rollify uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display banner and rewarded advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- device and advertising identifiers;
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- advertising impressions, clicks, reward completion, and other interactions;
- device, operating system, language, app, and diagnostic information;
- fraud-prevention, security, and performance information.
This information may be used to deliver and measure ads, limit ad frequency, prevent fraud, maintain security, and—where you consent and applicable law allows—personalize advertising.
Analytics and app interaction information
The app's embedded web interface includes Google Tag Manager and may use Google Analytics or related measurement services where enabled and permitted. Measured events may include app launches, language, feature and button use, number and type of dice, timer activity, advertising events, roll results, and technical errors. Depending on the action, an event may also contain user-entered column names, option labels, setup identifiers, or selected result values. Please avoid entering personal or sensitive information into setup names, columns, or options.
4. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Information | Basis where applicable |
|---|---|---|
| Provide setups, dice rolls, rules, timers, backups, and preferences | Locally stored app content and settings | Performance of the service requested by you |
| Display and measure advertising; prevent fraud | Advertising, device, interaction, and diagnostic data | Consent where required; legitimate interests for security and non-personalized operation where permitted |
| Understand use and improve reliability | Usage events and technical diagnostics | Consent where required |
| Comply with legal obligations and protect users | Information reasonably necessary for the relevant obligation | Legal obligation or legitimate interests |
5. Consent and advertising choices
Where required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent. You can revisit available choices through the app's Ad privacy settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Non-personalized or limited ads may still use information necessary for delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
You can also reset or delete your Android advertising ID through your device's privacy settings. Exact controls vary by Android version.
6. Permissions
- Internet and network state: required to load advertising and related consent services.
- Notifications: requested only when you use a countdown notification. You may deny or revoke this permission in Android settings.
- Wake lock and alarms: used to keep timers reliable and notify you when a countdown ends.
- Advertising ID: may be accessed by Google's advertising SDK subject to Android settings and applicable consent.
- File and share functionality: used when you explicitly export, import, or share a setup backup.
7. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your locally stored setups. Information may be processed by service providers only for the functions described in this Policy:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads for advertising, consent, measurement, security, and fraud prevention;
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for configured measurement and diagnostics;
- apps or services you select when exporting or sharing a backup.
Google explains its data practices in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
8. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored setups and preferences remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall Rollify. Temporary backup files may remain in the app cache until Android or the app removes them. Copies exported to another service must be deleted from that destination separately.
Advertising and analytics providers retain information according to their own policies and configured retention periods. Because Rollify has no user accounts, we generally cannot identify or remotely delete information stored only on your device. For questions or deletion requests concerning information that may be associated with our provider configurations, email us at ondrisek.thomas@gmail.com. We may need reasonable information to verify and locate the relevant data.
9. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to this application. Core setup information is kept in Android application storage, and provider communications use encrypted network connections where supported. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. International transfers
Google and other selected service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, those providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers. Please review their privacy documentation for details.
11. Children's privacy
Rollify is a general-audience decision tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request a child's name, contact details, or account information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, contact us so we can assess the request.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent or receive a portable copy. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise a right relating to Rollify, contact us using the address below. Rights concerning information controlled independently by Google or another selected service should also be directed to that provider.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Rollify's features, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or store listing.
